Pleasure to have been interviewed this month by sportanddev.org, one of the leading platforms in the international sport-for-development sector, on our "Everyone Deserves to Belong" campaign at Boxing is Love. The campaign is fronted by Cindy Ngamba, the first Olympic medallist to compete for the Refugee Olympic Team, and was launched around International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.

I spoke about why belonging sits at the centre of the sport-for-development case for boxing, and about how we think about reaching young people whose national identity has been fractured by the immigration system. The piece landed closer to a proper argumentative interview than a puff feature, which was welcome. I would rather be pressed on the argument than praised for the intent.

The full interview is here.
